Our client is a high-end lighting design company who are recruiting an experienced Sales focused Account Manager with strength in the AV market. Their clients require a high-end lighting design service, hence the requirement to bring onboard a team member with detailed, technical and market experience.

  • Identify and develop new clients designed to increase revenue while managing compliance, profitability, and revenue channel development.
  • Working in collaboration with the UK Designs Team and Engineering teams to deliver immediate and longer-term profitable revenues.
  • Qualify and quantify the customer's holistic needs in AV, lighting, and audio needs for high profile clients.
  • Act as the key contact for managed clients, understand customer's needs and goals, and create and execute a strategy that aligns our client's resources and solutions that solve customer needs.
  • Create and execute plans to further penetrate the account. This includes building contact surface, securing customer appointments, and executing sales calls, customer business reviews, and strategic action plans to identify and secure both short and long-term revenue opportunities.
  • Work with our existing AV partners and maximise sales with these stakeholders ensuring return business.
  • Understand customer's industry trends, and build a network that continues to establish credibility, rapport, and opportunities to engage customers.
  • Ensure each account shows consistent progress, moving from vendor status through desired role of trusted advisor and moving up the buy/sell hierarchy by consistently establishing and delivering on our service model.
  • Provide input into the Marketing team for delivery of timely collateral and associated materials to the business.
  • Attending industry vendor events as a representative to obtain information that is formally shared with the wider company to support sales goals.
  • Implementation of client on boarding and assistance with quotations, invoicing and collections

Required Skills

  • A proven sales background with AV experience
  • Strong autonomy and self-management skills
  • A leader and change maker; Someone who is hungry for success
  • A revenue earner - someone who closes effectively and efficiently
  • Communicate the technical needs of each program effectively to clients and internal partners.
  • Ability to train and develop any stakeholder.
  • Review quotes to ensure speedy conversion.
  • Understand product offerings, servicing divisions and communicate the customer's needs cross functionally.
  • Partner closely with operations and Design Team part of a client services team to maximise client satisfaction, ensure quality event delivery and event profitability.

Salary/Benefits Package

  • £35,000 - £45,000 - dependant on experience + bonus
  • Holiday - 22 days + bank holidays rising to 25 days with service, additional 3 days at Christmas
