Position: CNC Miller – Setter/Operator

Location: Coventry

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000

About: Our client specialises in precision engineering solutions. They are expanding our team with skilled professionals.

Position Overview: They seek a CNC Setter/Operator experienced with Heidenhein controls to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines for precision part production.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines with Heidenhein controls.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
  • Adjust machine settings for quality and precision.
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct quality checks.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Heidenhein controls.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred:

  • CNC machining certification.
  • High-precision manufacturing experience.
  • CAD/CAM software knowledge.
