Electrical Test Engineer - 39575 - £35.22/hr

Do you have electrical engineering experience, and are you seeking a new job in Warwickshire? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for a full-time Electrical Test Engineer in Coventry, and the role comes with an Umbrella Rate of £35.22 per hour (Inside IR35). This contract is for 46 weeks. 

As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will work within the Cross Functional Test Facilities Team, you will help deliver facilities support to the Test Operations team.

In your first few weeks in this Electrical Test Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Support EO activities under the control of EO-10026 for the company's vehicles
• Ensure the safe, smooth, efficient and effective operation of the EO Test Facilities used for Product Development
• Demonstrate safe working practices throughout in line with the company's policies.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
 

• Proven experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment and leading technologies
• Experienced in problem solving control systems
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes
• Clear and confident communicator both orally and in writing
• Ability to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style
• Ability to follow written and spoken instruction and interface well with customers
• Ability to work quickly and pay attention to detail
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office.
• A full UK driving license.

Preferred:
 

• Technical expertise and experience of test facilities and control systems for AVL, ABB and Horiba.
• Experience with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 standards and requirements.
• Knowledge of company Health and Safety requirements, Risk Assessments, COSHH and SDS.
• Knowledge of fluid controls, Ventilation systems, Chilled fluids.

Education
 

• A Level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or relevant experience.
• Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in English, Maths and Science
• Problem solving Qualification.
