Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and skilled QTS Food technology specialist to join a secondary academy in Trafford.

This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role from September 2024 to July 2025.

The Role

Teacher of Food technology

Five days a week

Delivery of food technology, nutrition and health and catering with a focus on innovative practical lessons

Positive confident behaviour management skills

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students.

The ability to teach other DT subjects such as textiles or product design would be beneficial.

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS practitioners and further education catering specialists with experience of teaching Food to students aged 11 to 18

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
