Solicitor – Housing Disrepair Department
Full Time, Permanent
£35,000 - £45,000
Liverpool City Centre (Hybrid Working Available)

An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic, expanding law firm in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. Our client specialises in a range of civil litigation matters and are currently expanding their growing HDR department.

We are seeking an ambitious qualified solicitor or FILEX, ideally with at least 1 years PQE. Experience of housing disrepair is preferred but not essential.

Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Running a caseload of pre- and post-litigation Section 11 claims on behalf of tenants
  • Comply with Pre Action-Protocol for Housing Disrepair Claims
  • Draft Letters of Claim
  • Collation of special damages
  • Negotiation and settlement
  • Liaise with counsel
  • Issue Court Proceedings
  • Manage all steps to trial
  • Conduct enforcement proceedings
  • Assist in the business development and growth of the department

Job Details and Benefits:
  • Full time, permanent
  • Monday – Friday, 35 hours a week
