A leading organisation based in Warwickshire are seeking a NQ Commercial Contracts Legal Counsel to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial matters and grow your legal career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Role Overview:

As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal support on a variety of commercial contracts, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks for the business. This role is ideal for a qualified solicitor with a passion for commercial law and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including service agreements, supply agreements, procurement agreements, sales agreements and more.
  • Provide legal advice to various business units on contract interpretation, compliance and risk management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contract management processes and policies.
  • Support the legal team on strategic projects.
  • Ensure all contracts are aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor, NQ + post-qualification experience.
  • Demonstrable experience, supporting in contract negotiation, this can include during your training contract.
  • Ability to provide practical and commercially-focused legal advice.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skill.s

The business operate a hybrid working model with 2 / 3 days per week required on-site in Warwickshire. This will suit a NQ / a Solicitor with some general commercial contracts experience, who may be looking for their next in-house opportunity.
