Description

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and reports
• Conducting cost analysis and identifying trends
• Developing and maintaining budgets
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
• Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial processes
• Implementing cost reduction measures
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts
• Providing ad-hoc financial support to the wider team

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Ideally working towards professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
• Good organisational and time management skills
