The One Group are pleased to be working with a leading provider of Gears and Gearboxes to a range of sectors in Hertfordshire who are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to be joining a growing business and are seeking a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills to own the manufacturing process for the assigned area. You will be responsible for ensuring manufacturing processes are safe producing quality products on time and under budget.

The day to day duties include:

  • Create and properly manage BOM's and routings of machining processes
  • Create and maintain process documentation
  • Work with the product development team to ensure new products transition effectively to the shop floor
  • Deploy lean tools and practice throughout the operations department

What we are looking for:

  • 3 - 7 years experience in metal machining processes, rotating equipment design
  • Must have gained exposure of developing manufacturing processes within a precision engineering environment
  • Experienced in solving difficult problems and improving processes
  • The ability to deploy lean tools and practices

On offer is a salary of up to £55,000.00 along with a comprehensive benefits package.
