TEACHING ASSISTANTS REQUIRED URGENTLY

START DATE: IMMEDIATE START

LOCATION: Birmingham

DAYS AND TIMES - MON- FRI: 08.30 - 15.30

LENGTH OF CONTRACT - IMMEDIATE TILL JULY 2024 MINIMUM

PAY: DOE

MUST BE ABLE WORK MONDAY TO FRIDAY 08:30 :15:30, NONE NEGOTIABLE

Empowering Learning is working in collaboration with a Primary School based in Birmingham, that is looking to appoint a teaching assistant to join them immediately.

The role of a Teaching Assistant is a rewarding role that provides a wealth of experience to both child and adult. A Teaching Assistant provides support within the classroom by supporting teaching and learning within the classroom and in smaller groups.

Some of the day-to-day duties will include assisting with lesson plans, supporting children across the curriculum, providing extra assistance to children with special needs. A "good" teaching assistant will be someone has who good communication skills and can communicate clearly to teachers and students, can show compassion and sensitivity towards children and has a good understanding of the national curriculum.

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will;

· Have a level 2 or Level 3 or an equivalent qualification

· Have experience of supporting teaching and learning within the classroom

· Have an insight of supporting children with special educational needs

· Seek to make learning enjoyable for keen, inquisitive minds

· Be able to support EAL students

· Be able to make a positive impact in and around the school setting

· Form positive relationships with parents and guardians

· Have a thorough understanding of the school safeguarding regulations

· Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to pay £51 for a new check.

Please be aware that this role is due to start as soon as possible and to be considered for this role you MUST be able to work 5 days a week, this is none negotiable.
