Located on The Docklands on the outskirts of Preston City Centre, TP Preston has good access to the Penwortham bypass, the M65 and M6 as well as Preston Train Station, we also have private off-road parking free to use for all internal staff. As a company, Teaching Personnel is open to applications from individuals of all backgrounds and experience, you will join a sector specific team and work alongside a mentor and an experienced manager to grow your desk and build long-lasting relationships with clients and educators.


The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant, you bring schools and Educators together, towards a better education experience for pupils. You will join a thriving team covering a specialist sector (opportunity to join Primary, Secondary or SEN) and will be responsible for building your educator pool and school base across your local given area. As a result of recent growth, all sectors can offer warm and growing desks so you will have peace of mind that you are joining an area with great potential!

The Role

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant at Teaching Personnel, you bring schools and teachers together, towards a better education experience for pupils. You are not required to have experience in this career or any work experience at all, so long as you bring your energy and willingness to learn to the table. You will join a thriving team covering a specialist sector (secondary/primary/SEN) and will support an experienced team of recruiters and have the opportunity for career development and progression - and we will be right there, supporting and cheering you on.

Should you choose to accept it, your mission will be to:

  • Delight your customers through strong relationship building and delivery of best quality administrative support to teachers and teaching assistants
  • Proactively communicate with branches and candidates regarding vetting and registration
  • Create and publish job adverts and interviewing alongside experienced Recruitment Consultants
  • Be a data input and data management wizard
