A brand new opportunity has opened up with one of our clients based in Hove. The firm are an award-winning legal firm, who are on the lookout for an experienced Solicitor to join their every growing Residential Property department.

The Role:

As a Residential Property Solicitor, you will be an integral part of their high-performing Property team. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding clients through the complexities of property transactions, ensuring their interests are safeguarded every step of the way. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, from assisting first-time homebuyers to advising on intricate commercial ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of property matters, demonstrating astute legal knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to deliver prompt and effective solutions.
  • Provide expert legal advice on property transactions, leases, and development projects.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements with precision and clarity.
  • Conduct due diligence and research to support clients in making informed decisions.
  • Represent clients in property-related disputes and negotiations with skill and professionalism.
  • Keep abreast of legal developments in the real estate sector and apply industry best practices to your work.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years PQE, with substantial experience in property law.
  • Sound knowledge of real estate transactions, conveyancing, and property-related legislation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in legal research and IT tools relevant to property law.
  • A track record of delivering exceptional results and a commitment to the highest professional standards.
  • A team player mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
