• Contributing to the advancement of progressive residential programmes.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Experience in assisting young individuals with special educational needs, particularly in the realms of social, emotional, and/or mental health.
• Providing personalised support for personal development.
• Implementing interventions to support academic, behavioural, and social advancement.
• Advocating for individual student progress and well-being.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above in English and Mathematics.
• Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).

Overview of the Role:

• Work with a mixed special school catering to students from Year 4 to Year 11 experiencing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
• Diagnoses include ADHD, ASC, PTSD, PDA, ODD, and Attachment Disorder.
• Many students have faced disruptions to their education.
• Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives, equipping them for a fulfilling future.
• Start date September 2024
