Are you looking for work in a primary school environment? Do you live in Derby or Derbyshire?

Claire's School Solutions are recruiting for more SEND supply teaching assistants across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) to join our lovely team and work in our local Derby and Derbyshire primary schools. We offer day-to-day, short-term and long-term roles in part-time and full-time employment.

As a Teaching Assistant you must have a positive mind-set and will have strong engagement abilities to support the development of the student. You will show reliability, good teamwork, flexibility, adaptability and commitment to working. You will also need to be able to build a rapport with the student.

It is essential to have:

  • Previous experience working with children.
  • Experience working with SEND children.
  • Have an understanding of safeguarding.
  • A passion for working and supporting children's learning.
  • Previous UK experience working in a Primary School environment.
  • Strong communication skills that can be demonstrated by an ability to build relationships with other professionals.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
