Senior Support Worker

Your new opportunity 

We are currently recruiting for full time Senior Support Workers to join our Quarriers Village Supported Living service which has been developed to support 32 people. The people we support have a range of complex needs and we support them in their day to day lives helping them achieve their goals and ambitions. Each person being supported has their own tenancy in converted flats which are located in the idyllic location Quarriers Village, Bridge of Weir. 

We provide 24/7 support to people based on their individual needs and hours can vary from a few hours per day to 24 hour support. Our well established service are keen to find passionate people who genuinely care about delivering person-centred care. 

This is a permanent, full time role offering 39 hours per week.

Working pattern: Some of the people we support require a few of hours of support during the day to either, attend activities, appointments, assistance with cooking and cleaning as well as personal care. It is important that the successful candidate offers flexibility to meet the essential needs of the people we support. 

What you will need to bring to the role

• Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals.
• Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes.
• Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener.
• Good IT & communication skills.
• Due to the remote location of the village it is essential candidates have a full driving licence and access to their own transport.
