Berry Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Tool Store Person. to start ASAP for a leading Precision Engineering company on outskirts of Totton.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 08.00-16.15. Duties to include:

  • To progress tooling orders, thus helping to ensure on time deliveries.
  • To organise and maintain an orderly tool and fixture store.
  • To keep accurate records and monitor stock levels and condition of tooling.
  • Issue to production personnel and receive back into stock, all tooling, fixtures and gauging.
  • To identify and classify tools, jigs and fixtures.
  • Maintain storage and house keeping.
  • Receive Goods and verify goods received comply with purchase order requirements.
  • Create a GRN number.
  • Issue materials to works orders.
  • Cut material as per works order requirements.
  • Book out assembly items to works orders.
  • Loading the company vans and emptying bins (as required).

Own transport is preferable due to location. They would prefer you to have a driving license so that you could do deliveries if needs be.
