Building Physics Engineer

This an exciting opportunity for a Building Physics Engineer to join a well-established building services consultancies sustainability team in their offices in London.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Providing clients with sustainable solutions and strategies on a variety of services that include thermal comfort and overheating, low-zero carbon feasibility studies, daylight calculations, building regulations compliance, and SAP and SBEM.
  • Consult on M&E strategies for residential and commercial projects
  • Produce high quality reports and manage client accounts, developing and maintaining working relationships
  • Assist the design team on a range of projects

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree within an architecture, sustainability, or engineering field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within a relevant role, showing a strong passion for sustainability and built environment
  • CIBSE LCEA accreditation or working towards it, with experience in generating EPC's
  • Experience with IES software to carry out overheating analysis to TM52 and TM59
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
