Compliance & Risk Coordinator - Student Accommodation

Location: Across London Buildings

Salary: £35,000

Role:

  • Undertake quarterly audits of all operational sites in line with the internal Compliance Monitoring Plan.
  • Ensure the H&S portal is updated with all certifications and relevant documentation.
  • Induct new starters, provide ongoing in-house training, and organize annual H&S training sessions.
  • Conduct regular toolbox talks and ensure role-specific inductions are completed.
  • Provide health and safety support and training to the site-based managers and operatives.
  • Actively involved in drafting and advising Management on method statements, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
  • Review, update, and improve current Health & Safety processes and procedures.
  • Carry out regular site inspections and liaise and feedback to the Group Compliance and Risk Manager.
  • Assist in investigating, recording, and reporting any incidents or accidents on site and report to senior management.
  • Attend and organize H&S committee meetings.
  • Attend Health and Safety events, stay updated on current legislation.
  • Support the Group Compliance and Risk Manager in overseeing the management of HRB’s in line with the Building Safety Act requirements.
  • Support the Group Compliance and Risk Manager in aligning the H&S programs with the ISO45001 management system.
  • Ensure the operational buildings run in line with the current fire regulations.
  • Support the site managers in mobilizing the development assets by inspecting the relevant building manuals and commissioning certificates.
