Futures manufacturing are working with an engineering business with significant R&D presence in Leeds, seek to appoint a Project Manager to their engineering team. A good organiser with a keen eye for detail you will run 8-12 internal and external projects, appropriately liaising with internal engineering/quality/production/purchasing departments, ranging from minor modifications taking a few weeks to brand new designs taking up to 2 years. On offer is a long-term stable career path with a successful and expanding business.

Project Manager - Role & Responsibilities

 * Prompt and efficient administration of project tasks. Deliver clear visual workflow of tasks to be completed and communicate progress with team
 * Chair project meetings, gate reviews and design reviews
 * Internal project champion. Facilitate better communication between departments and liaise with individual departments to ensure adherance to project timescales
 * Create project cost estimates for initial project feasibility
 * Manage full project life cycle of 8-12 concurrent projects
 * Co-ordinate engineering resource to deliver successful projects on-time and on-budget

Project Manager - Skills & Experiences

 * Experience working for an engineering business would be beneficial
 * Ability to organise and plan. Well organsied with a keen eye for detail
 * Familiarity with Microsoft Project (or another project management tool) beneficial
 * Able to read engineering drawings and BOMs
 * A minimum of 3 years' recent experience in a projects role
