Talent84 Ltd have a full-time vacancy for a Quality Team Leader to work for a globally recognised leader in the food packaging industry at their site in Featherstone.

Hours of work are:

  • Continental shifts working a mixture of days and nights.
  • Days 6.40 am - 7.00 pm Nights 6.40 pm - 7.00 am.
  • Includes working 2 weekends in 4.

Pay Rate:

  • £14.47 per hour

Job Purpose

  • To lead a team of quality inspectors to oversee the products development and ensure it is manufactured to industry and company standards.

Duties are varied and may include:

  • Supervising the quality team and allocating work
  • Testing products at various stages
  • Examining products and materials for defects or deviations from specification and reporting any faults
  • Competing relevant records
  • Assisting with quality audits
  • Developing systems to improve efficiency.

Skills required:

  • Experience of quality inspection
  • Supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of quality testing systems and quality control standards
  • Certification of Quality control (IS 9000 etc.)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Keen eye for details
