Role Overview
A prestigious legal firm in Manchester is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Crime & Regulatory team. This role is ideal for an accomplished Regulatory Lawyer with a strong technical background. The team represents charities, public sector organizations, SMEs, and individuals in various regulatory disputes. Key areas of work include:

  • professional discipline
  • CQC/Ofsted work
  • health and safety
  • environmental issues
  • transport
  • inquests
  • public law
  • healthcare crime
  • interviews under caution

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience as a regulatory lawyer with a proven history of technical expertise; advocacy experience is advantageous.
  • Background in handling insurance claims, particularly legal expenses insurance and liability insurance claims.
  • Experience in criminal litigation is preferable but not essential.
  • Strong client management and practice development skills.
  • Ability to attract and develop new business.
  • Excellent client care and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • High attention to detail and accurate case management abilities.
  • Ability to interact positively and cooperatively with team members.
