Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Reed Education are working with a Primary School in the north of Middlesbrough to find and place a Teaching Assistant, skilled at working with pupils with SEND, to work full-time from September 2024.

Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team at a welcoming Primary School in Middlesbrough. As an SEN TA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs, ensuring they thrive in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEN, fostering positive relationships.
• Assist with academic tasks, social interactions, and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to create personalized learning plans.
• Implement behavior management strategies to create a supportive environment.
