Are you an Account Manager who would like to work for an industry leading FMCG organisation that invests in its people and sustainability, offers full autonomy, prides itself on its ethics and integrity, and offers the potential to earn substantial achievable bonus?

One of the major players in the world of FMCG and coffee have an exciting Account Manager opportunity working across the Midlands, where you will be responsible for the retention, development and managing of multiple existing key accounts, whilst actively driving new business acquisition.  Your customers and prospects will be smaller, independent retailers, convenience and forecourt stores, and workplaces, and you'll be offering competitive "coffee to go" solutions through building and nurturing relationships in this field based role - utilising your understanding of how this customer base works and taking ownership of your business.

As an Account Manager, your exciting new role will involve:
  • Driving new business acquisition
  • Obtaining leads through developing and nurturing relationships with key contacts and carrying out research
  • Retaining, re-contracting and maximising existing accounts
  • Increasing cup sales volume in existing sites - focusing on quality, social media, improving retail standards
  • Delivering on-site training to clients
  • Managing and updating your prospect pipeline

I am very interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working as an Account Manager, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, Field Sales Executive or Field Sales Account Manager, within an FMCG business within the convenience and forecourt sector.  Coffee industry experience would be desirable but isn't essential.

Basic salary for this position is: £28,000 to £32,000 p.a. (depending on level of experience) - plus OTE of £10-12k in bonus potential (as well as additional bonuses).  The package for this field-based sales role also includes company car and fuel card.
