Dental Nurse
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Nurse to work for a dental clinic. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the dentist during dental procedures and ensure the comfort and safety of patients.
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing support
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
- Proficient in English language (both written and verbal)
- Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic patient records
