Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Leeds who are looking for a Finance Officer to join their team. This is a full-time (37 hours) and permanent position offering hybrid working. You will carry out a range of finance duties with particular attention on the Fixed Asset Register and preparation of month end reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Fixed Asset Register
  •  Produce month end accounts and assist with prepayments, accruals, and cost recharges
  • Maintain disposals, additions and undertake asset/inventory checks
  • Collate information from external and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accuracy of the finance system and correctly revise leavers and starters
  • Prepare tenders and monitor SLAs
  • Data input and produce analysis and ad hoc reports through Excel
  • Assist with annual budgeting and reforecasting processes
  • Prepare reports and analysis as required
  • Maintain financial records, including reconciliations

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience with Fixed Assets and depreciation policy
  • Minimum Level 4 AAT required
  • Intermediate Excel skills (e.g Pivot Tables, SUMIFs, VLOOKUPs)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Experience working to deadlines
