Role within the UKI Fire & Security Sales team, with the privilege of focusing on specific growth strategies for Service Sales.  For success it is critical this leader has strong commercial experience, and can work with the Sales Director to build a consistently well executing, Customer focused, winning Service Sales team; which passionately drives growth programs, initiatives and leads a small team of Service Sellers

What you will do

The Service Sales Manager will work in the Sales function and drive significant growth in new service contract sales (existing & new Customers), Introducing new outcome-based solutions and offerings whilst expanding quality of contracts sold (term, value and type) and improving our ability to win in public sector service tenders.

The Service Sales Manager will capture increase in market share across the sectors in the UKI through existing account expansion, identifying key projects, building relationships with specific end users or influencers and engaging our sales organization to execute opportunities with a winning mindset.

The role is a senior sales position within the F&S commercial organization, empowered to work across the business to focus on aligning the needs of Service customers and delivering outcome-based solutions.

Within the UKI, specific go to market initiatives have been identified as high growth / high potential, this role is expected to deliver these service projects by working with other Sales Managers and delivering through own team of service sellers. The ability to understand the primary needs of the customer & stakeholders, what drives their decisions and what outcomes the customer is looking for is essential. This individual must be able to drive a team of individuals to bid to win in the public and private tender space.

This is a networked role with direct service sellers that requires an ability to work under pressure and to meet challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills. Time management, efficiency, the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision are all important.

Presentation skills are key to the role, you should also be an articulate, confident speaker. Strong written communication skills are equally essential.

How you will do it

You will Lead a small team of service sellers and deliver key strategic service initiatives into the Fire & Security business. Specifically focused on new contract sales including areas such as direct sales and tendering

Demand Generation

  • Leads projects and drive service growth initiatives aligned with Enterprise Sales Function
  • Deploys new service campaigns (offerings, strategies, Customers)
  • Leading core initiatives such as attachment, linkage, warranty conversion, tendering & direct sales for service Deal Size & Quality
  • Leads evolution of new offerings / deal structures and outcome-based solutions
  • Drives public sector growth in Education & Healthcare.

Win Rate

  • Drives effective win planning in service, tool utilization and bid management
  • Supports pricing strategy execution and effective service deal desk support
  • Understand Service stakeholder needs and develop outcome-based solutions
  • Utilise Salesforce CRM to manage all sales coaching activity

People

  • Lead the weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence of Service Sellers activities including forecasting, pipeline generation, planning, and opportunity management
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within Fire & Security business

You will succinctly and consistently clarify, explain and sell concepts to broad groups whilst ensuring prioritized focus on key initiatives.  In parallel you will leverage your knowledge and experience of economic, financial and market trends to understand customer results and internal performance to then work with enterprise teams to develop strategies to continuously improve our commercial service execution.

As a change agent you will balance consistent execution with organizational / cultural changes needed to achieve strategic objectives, and consistently help others to overcome resistance to change.

  • Demonstratable experience in significant Service Sales growth in Fire, Security Services
  • Experience of delivering service growth through a matrix organization
  • Understand and experience of driving digital services within the sector
  • Knowledge of digital technologies and solutions and developing commercial offerings delivering Customer outcomes. Ideally with strong interest / experience in sustainability and associated solutions.
  • Demonstrated key relationships within sectors
