The salary for this role is £45,680 per annum for working 36 hours per week. This is a 6-month secondment or fixed term contract. We are based in Woodhatch Place, Reigate, however we also support remote working, which means you won't be required to be in the office 5 days a week. Their mission is to ensure the efficient delivery of front-line services. About the role As an Applications Senior Specialist within the Education and Social Care Applications Team, your primary responsibility will be to support and enhance the ownership of systems. Specifically, you'll focus on Social Care and Education IT systems supplied by System C within a Microsoft based environment. In this role, your key responsibilities include: Prioritising workloads: efficiently managing your tasks to meet deadlinesUpdating call logging systems: accurately maintaining records and monitoring progress with third partiesProcess enhancement: contributing to the development of processes that improve service efficiencyProject management: overseeing the execution and delivery of small to medium projects or acting as a resource for larger projects, following best practice methodologies To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualities: IT literacy: proficiency in using IT systemsEffective communication: strong interpersonal skills for both technical and non-technical communicationAnalytical problem-solving: ability to diagnose and address issues effectivelyCustomer support: a proven track record of providing excellent customer serviceProfessional development: a genuine desire to grow and develop in your fieldPressure handling: The ability to work well under pressure Your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of critical systems that impact the delivery of essential services.
