Broker Support Technician - Duties and responsibilities Assisting in back end technical duties, Invoicing, Closing Advices, Third Party Credit Notes and accounts liaison. Preparation of MRC Slips and Endorsements. Liaising with team members and Underwriters as and where needed. Loading MRC slips to PPL for sign off by Underwriters. Filing formal policy documentation. Assisting in Ad-hoc duties as and when a member of the team needs assistance. What you need to show You must be passionate to learn and committed to delivering exceptional service to clients. Experience working with PPL and any experience in the London Market would be useful. You will be a confident written and verbal communicator with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and Underwriters alike, with the desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic team. You are self-motivated and able to prioritise your own workload within relevant time frames and meeting realistic deadlines. Willingness to start, or already working towards, ACII would be beneficial. This role will sit within the International Cyber, Media and Technology Risks division. The successful Senior Technician will become a key member of the team, providing a broad range of technical support functions which will allow for the effective placement and servicing of client accounts. Senior Broker Support Technician Role overview: Responsible for producing and processing pre-inception and post-placement documentation, processing premium, credit control, file and record management. Main Duties: Timely and accurate production of: Evidence of Covers/Market Reform Contracts, Addenda/Market Reform Contract Endorsements, Debit Notes/Credit Notes and Endorsements.Produces evidence of insurance/certificates/Letters of Undertaking for third parties on clients' instructions, as necessary.Reviews documents at key stages to ensure accuracy and completeness for subsequent processing.Premium Processing - original, additional/return premiums and any other associated transactions, as necessary.Generates the correct market closing documentation and submits premium to the company market and the bureaux.Credit Control - monitor PPW's and work with clients to ensure timely settlement of due funds.Uploading risks on PPL, where required. Skills Required: Experience in a similar broker support / technician role within the Lloyd's market.Exposure to Cyber risks is ideal but general casualty is satisfactory.familiarity with Xchanging procedures.
