Buying Assistant
As Buying Assistant - you will be joining an established and growing catalogue and web based brand, located just outside Oxford. The role is full time office based Monday to Friday. Purpose of the role:To support the Homeware Buying team in all day-to-day activities, from liaising with suppliers to working with the internal teams to resolve any questions or issues. Key Responsibilities for the Buying Assistant: Supporting the Buyer with ordering sample from suppliersManaging sample selection ranges and photo shootsManaging all administration for samples including invoice processingPutting together detailed product content for web and catalogue useMaintaining the buying process of all product rangesMaintaining an up to date understanding of range performanceWorking with supplier with new products on accuracy and specificationLiaising with warehouse and suppliers regarding any quality issuesAny other admin duties Key Skills Required for the Buying Assistant: Experience within buying or supply chain would be an advantageDetail orientatedOrganised, used to working to deadlinesConfident communicatorWork well under pressure and able to multitaskAdaptable in a changing environmentStrong IT skills, particularly excelAble to work on own initiativeOwn transport essential, due to remote location What's in it for you?
