We are currently recruiting for a Private Client Tax Senior to join our private client tax team in Canterbury for a compliance based position. You will be managing and processing specific private client tax workflow directly to clients and other Service Lines within the firm, providing high quality client service experience whilst ensuring adherence to individual job budgets and maximum fee recovery. About the role Ensure the planning, prioritising and reviewing of all relevant client private client tax work (compliance and advisory) ensuring effective team workflowEnsure full implementation of all client Private Client Tax work in line with agreed budget ensuring adherence to’ The KR Way standards of performance’ document (eg the Life of a Tax Return), with completed work ready for review and sign off in line with the review processDeveloping private client tax technical skills and keeping up to date through training courses, appropriate research and identification of changes in legislation, HMRC policy and as a result of cases.Act as a key and sustained point of contact for clients and internal contacts involved with each clientSupervise seniors, semi seniors & assistants who are involved in production and delivery of private client tax workBuild own internal profile amongst partners and directors in other SLs to ensure private client tax work isWith 200 years of history, we are an award-winning professional services firm with offices in London, Kent and Sussex. Private Client Tax Assistant Dorking, Surrey£25,000 - £35,000 Harvey John are delighted to be representing a small accountancy practice based in Dorking, Surrey as they look to expand their Personal Tax team!If you're looking for a friendly firm where you can excel within your specialism, this is the role for you! Despite their size, the firm's client base is varied and you'll work on the tax affairs of HNWIs, sole traders and Directors of OMBs and contribute towards maintaining the strong relationships that the team pride themselves on. Responsibilities will include preparing self-assessment tax returns, including capital gains tax, liaising with HMRC, and assisting the Tax team with project work as required.
