This company is leading the way in the off shore equipment design and dominating the offshore engineering space. The client has won a number of projects which requires contract staffing resource. This role is for an initial 6 months starting ASAP (extensions expected) This role is based in the Newcastle and is deemed Outside IR35. The ideal Controls Engineer will have subsea/renewables engineering experience and a strong background in EC&I. The client is looking for candidates with the following experience: PLC programming (Siemens / Rockwell)Designing of SCADA/HMI applicationsDesign of Ethernet and serial networksManufacture and assembly supportTechnical documentation to support equipment (specifications, risk assessments, manuals, etc)Client support - on-site and remote (occasional site travel preferred)Peer review of engineering designsExperience level - ability to work on projects without direct supervision. 5+ years.
