Working in a highly professional environment you will be skilled at building rapport with customers whilst working quickly and efficiently, giving your customers and Clients the best possible Claims experience. You will demonstrate a strong and proactive approach to management of your own caseload and commitment to customer service. As an experienced Claims professional, your strong Credit Hire background will enable you to be the Credit Hire Champion for the Department. Key Responsibilities of the Claims Handler role include: Ownership of your allocation of Third Party claims, setting up and handling each case from first notification through to settlement Conducting investigation of claims where appropriate to obtain quantum and liability information in order to make appropriate policy and legal liability decisions Ensuring claims are settled within specific handling times and Customers are kept updated with the progression of their claim Using your technical Claims Handling experience in order to settle claims, minimising potential for increased costs and challenging the need for a vehicle where requiredMinimising the financial exposure to incoming Credit Hire and repair claims through investigation and negotiation skillsProtecting the company against credit hire claims by gathering evidence, utilising case law and other resources to achieve the best possible outcome in line with business strategy Managing and promptly resolving all external and internal queriesBuilding, developing and maintaining close working relationships with customers ensuring a consistently high standard of service is provided To be successful in the Claims Handler role you will need to demonstrate: Experience within Motor Claims and strong Credit Hire knowledgeStrong customer service, communication and negotiation skillsMethodical and accurate approach to workStrong attention to detail and natural problem solving abilities This is a hybrid role which will allow you the flexibility of working in the office and at home.

Our client based in the Midlands area is looking for a Trade Credit Account Handler to join their team. As a Trade Credit Account Handler your duties will include: Prioritise and handle all work promptly and accurately.Handle all queries, whether written or by telephone, in a professional manner and process effectively in line with service standards.Record all relevant information, correspondence, and documentation on Acturis and make effective use of the diary system.Obtain renewal terms and present to client.Assist with new business on occasions.Liaise with Account Executives for renewal, and new Business casesAttend client meetingsActively cross-sell products from other Divisions Skills Good level of technical insurance skills, to be assessed by regular in-house testing.Accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to process work quickly and efficiently.Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.Excellent client service skills.Good negotiation and broking skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to gather and analyse information from the client.Ability to identify and respond appropriately to an individual client’s level of understanding.Ability to persuade and influence others.
