Our established and highly successful client are working with us on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced Demand Planner. In this key role, you will effectively maintain an ordering pattern that provides sufficient stock levels for a variable demand product portfolio, and at the same time meet targets for product availability and stock holding value. You will be responsible for Vendor deliveries ensuring parts arrive on time and in full while monitoring any arrears and progress chase these so past dues are kept to a minimum. The role also has the responsibility of co-ordinating the department activities and to drive improvements and projects to support the attainment of department KPI's. Key Responsibilities: Ownership over assigned group of products, monitoring the supply in line with company targets, placing PO's where needed and mitigating risk where met.Work closely with the wider business to fully understand the demand on products and inventory levels.Become an expert on the full supply chain for assigned products as to mitigate risk and maximise opportunity.Develop key relationships with both internal and external teams in order to monitor and track inventory.Maintain accurate and efficient stock levels in line with company targets.Develop, track and report on a suite of KPI's.Ensure high level of service to internal customers.Production of stock forecasts and communication of supplemental demand forecasts.Stock management continually reviewed and analysed (including active stocks, range updates, aged stocks, and new/promo lines).Run Requisition report daily for your product category ensuring all parts are ordered where possible.Monitor and drive down back order / arrears situation with your suppliers each week and chase where required, keeping past dues to a minimum and ensuring stock is then deliveredAttend relevant category meetings with Vendor Management's and CM's and communicate any actions for the Demand Planning team.With forecast and other information from manager work with VM's to deliver spot / tactical buys thus help reducing COGS.Participate in vendor visits both onsite and offsite, and look to build a solid working relationship with your relevant vendor contact(s).Mentor the team to provide business continuity and personal development. Main Objectives: Join our clients team to strategically plan, schedule, and coordinate finished goods and assemblies throughout the production cycle. Your strong working knowledge of ERP Systems, particularly in demand forecasting and simulation modules, will be a significant asset. With proven experience delivering results and influencing without formal authority, you'll bring superior analytical and critical thinking skills to the table. Proficiency in data analysis and report generation, along with expertise in statistics and data analysis, is required. Fluency in Spanish and English is advantageous, and Six Sigma and LEAN certification/experience are highly desirable. You should be willing to travel globally (up to 10% travel required). Education and Experience: A Bachelor's Degree is required, with a preference for a Master's Degree. You should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Customer demand and production control planning, ideally in a B2B context. Preferred certifications include SIOP Certification, APICS certification, and Change Management/ADKAR training. Special Skills: Proficiency in utilising an ERP system, including Glovia, will be beneficial. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office tools and have experience leading demand teams to improve customer forecast accuracy and optimise inventory. Your expertise in data analysis and presenting findings to senior leaders will be invaluable.
