Job DescriptionWe're recruiting for aNET C Sharp Software Developer to join our application support and development team. The ideal candidate will contribute towards current EUC's upgrade, add features, solve bugs, improve how we work and ultimately deliver valuable, high quality software to our customers. As a Systems Development & Support Analyst, successful candidate will be responsible for providing a variety of development & support activities in line with the services we provide - with a focus on analysing how the systems and processes work, as well as providing testing and technical assistance. What you'll be doing: Delivering medium-sized, clean, maintainable features and solutions, resolve end-to end issues with an understanding of different possible approachesConducting code reviews with an emphasis on functionality and other non-functional requirements, such as maintainability and security Contributing to your team's approaches to deployment, monitoring and operations, so that we can easily release and run performant and resilient systems in productionAttending and contributing to all team events, with a focus on improvementWith a challenging Programme of Work, you will be assigned to one or more initiatives, liaising with third parties as well as all areas within LGIM and the wider L&G GroupEngaging at all stages of the project & service lifecycle, with the opportunity to see process/system changes right the way through from design to early life supportEnsuring that service delivery is consistent with business needs and user requirementsChampioning of Continual Service Improvement, proactively striving to improve the services we provide QualificationsWho we're looking for: ITIL Service Management (or equivalent)Strong C# development skills combined with SQLVBA (MS Access and MS Excel).NET Framework, Azure DevOpsAppreciation of the Retail Investments and the regulatory frameworksExcellent understanding of Agile methodology and CI/CDBeing collaborative and enjoy sharing knowledge as well as learning Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
