What you'll be doing Are you an engineer with experience in maintenance engineering in an FMCG environment? We are recruiting for an electrically biased engineer to join our site in Heathrow. Principal Engineer Gateshead (Onsite) £50k - £65k DOE Role details: We are working with a Defence Consultancy who provide innovative and complex defence solutions for land, sea and air. They design and build ruggedised electronic solutions for a wide range of applications and purposes. They are looking for a Principal Engineer to lead on all technical and engineering matters. Providing design, development, delivery and in-service support on a range of systems including Communications Information Services, Fighting Vehicles and Electronic Warfare. Responsibilities: Providing day to day technical and engineering consultancy.Liaison with clients, suppliers, Project Managers, senior managers, and other product &project stakeholders.Line Management of designated staff.Providing authorisation of documents and drawings pertinent to the designated field/product/project.Preparation of, and leading of various Reviews Requirements: Technical capability and an awareness of new developments in the associated field of engineeringAbility to attend and lead client meetings and present visual presentations.Ability to breakdown tasks into a SOW and delegate tasks accordinglyCompetent to use a configuration management application to approve and direct document production. My client based in Haddenham is looking for an Engineer. The role will include: · Carrying out installations, maintenance, inspections, service and repairs. · Diagnosis of plant/equipment failure. · Maintain health and safety records. · All other workshop duties as deemed necessary. To be successful in this Engineer role you will have: · Electrical engineering experience. · Level 2 or 3 engineering qualifications. · Be able to read electrical and hydraulic diagrams. · A background working on HGV’s forklift trucks, plant machinery, access platforms could be an advantage. · Good customer, admin and communication skills required. Working hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
