Speech and Language Therapist - Chichester I am currently recruiting for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6) to work in a lovely SEN School in Chichester This is a long term position with the potential of becoming perm Hours: 36 hours per week, 43 weeks per year (to be worked term time and 4 weeks during the school holidays); Salary: NJC Scale POA £33,482 - £37,320 per annum plus an SSA £1,270 per annum. Seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with experience of working with children and adolescents with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be working within an established Therapy Team, within an SEN secondary school recently OFSTED rated as Good. You will be working with students aged 11-19 years who have a wide variety of conditions including autistic spectrum disorder, global developmental delay, respiratory, neurological and neuromuscular pathologies. The candidate will need to be able to work well as part of the Therapy Team and wider school team. This post provides many exciting opportunities including assessment, group work, one to one therapy and class-based interventions, working in collaboration with teaching staff, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and rehabilitation assistants. The Therapy Team is responsible for integrating clinical intervention across all aspects of the educational curriculum ensuring that pupils are able to readily access and engage in learning.
