As our Space Planning Manager, you would be responsible for the development and implementation of the Retail stores layout, ensuring that these are consistent with the broader business brand. A subject matter expert, influencing the commercial teams to deliver relevant EBITDA targets and working with our property team on new stores fixtures, layouts and implementation. A full job description is available on request, but to summarise your key responsibilities: Develop the Space strategy with accountability for all space allocation, creating opportunities to drive category and store performance in like for like sales and marginOwn store layouts from seasonal changes to 'business as usual' retail trading; taking projects from ideation to in store implementationPlanogram production in order to optimise the return from shelf spaceProvide insights and analysis to the Commercial teamComplete regular reviews with the Regional Retail teams to identify further opportunities and ensure consistency of executionWork with Retail and Commercial teams to ensure an activity calendar of implementation and ensure stakeholder sign off at each stageWork with the Supply Chain team on managing optimal stock levelInfluencing the Retail teams and ensure consistent delivery and execution across the estate, ensuring they understand the 'why’ and are on board with why space planning matters. The Skills - Space Planning Manager To be successful in this role, you’ll need the following skills, experience and qualities: Proficiency in the use of Excel to analyse key data and forecastsEffective influencing skills, able to use the data and work with other teams (e.g. Retail / support functions) to convey your key messages.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer behaviour insightsCommercial awareness of the retail business with a good understanding of the Space / Merchandising critical path, process flows and activitiesKnowledge of merchandising operations processesSpace planning software experience i.e. JDA Space planning, Relex Space Planning or equivalentShare our values of being: Wise, Focused, Genuine, Eager, Together About Jollyes - The Pet People Since initially making paw prints in 1971, Jollyes has become one of the largest pet superstore chains across the United Kingdom & Northern Ireland.
