At RMG we manage small and large blocks and estates for RMC (Resident Management Companies), L&T (Landlord & Tenant) and Developers. You’ll be working alongside a great team of accounting professionals, led by a highly experienced senior management team. What will you be doing? As a Technical Accountant you’ll carry out resolution of technical and financial client issues, financial reconciliations/take-on of new sites, Right to Manage and VAT reconciliations. This role suits an experienced Service Charge Accountant, fully conversant with complex service charge accounts and lease interpretation who would like to move away from high volume service charge accounts preparation to utilise your expertise to investigate, analyse and resolve more complex financial issues and produce first year service charge accounts on our new business sites. This role requires excellent communication skills as you will be frequently liaising with clients and managing agents directly. Production of the first year service charge accounts on new business developmentsAssist with the financial handover of new business including loading data to the systemReporting and chasing internal & external for missing informationAssist with Right to Manage reconciliations and queriesAssist with financial handover from/to new managing agents and queriesAssist in accounts preparation for large sites & key clientsProvide reporting to management as requestedAssist the financial areas of the business with complex/key client requests and reconciliationsLease interpretation Any other Duties as required What are we looking for?
