WHAT'S THE ROLE Work alongside squads of 8-12 to analyse requirements, design test plans, execute tests, and identify and report defects.Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, iterative environment, adapting to changing priorities and delivering value quickly.Analyse requirements, user stories, and risks to create accurate test estimates and suggest optimal testing approaches.Utilise your expertise in test planning, test execution, defect management, and reporting to ensure all applications meet functional requirements.Expand your skillset by exploring automation testing practices, non-functional testing (performance, security, etc.), and various tools and applications. Test Analyst - £28K - Blackpool (3-days on-site/2 flexible/Hybrid working) The Candidate has partnered with one of the UK’s largest eCommerce retailers in their search for a Test Analyst to join their team as they continue to grow out their tech function. The team is currently focussed on a large-scale digital transformation project and is looking to add a Test Analyst with a focus on manual testing their web based platform. You’ll ideally have experience with: Writing test scenarios and detailed scripts, collaborating with both internal and external development teams.Functional and non-functional tests based on approved cases to ensure releases meet acceptance criteria and uphold quality and performance standards before launch.Participating in daily test status meetings, updating on sprint testing progress and reported bugs, and assist in prioritizing issues in line with project timelines. You’ll be joining a team of developers & testers on an initial 12-months FTC with a salary of up to £28,000 P/A working on-site from their Blackpool office 3-days per week.
