Our Technologies Our current technology stack makes use of a microservices architecture primarily using C# .Net Core and RabbitMQ. On the front end we make heavy use of Angular and Typescript to provide rich customer experiences. Summary of Responsibilities… Ensure that applications have appropriate manual and automated testing in place and are tested in line with stakeholder requirements and best practice Help design and ensure the quality of web-based applications and outward facing APIs Ensure that the latest technologies are continually being considered and adopted Continually develop your own skills to help increase overall capability of the team Actively contribute to team discussions and decisions Contribute positively to peer reviews of both code and architecture Support and maintain existing applications developed by the Application Development Team Skills, Experience &amp; Background Knowledge and understanding of software development and testing technologies Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Desire to work as part of a team as well as individually Desire to learn new skills and adapt to new technologies and ways of working Ability to deliver within given timescales and constraints Knowledge of development &amp; test practices particularly continuous integration, continuous delivery and test automation approaches Desirable Skills &amp; Experience An understanding of some of the following technologies; Playwright, Contract testing/PACT, Postman / Newman, Selenium, .Net/C# (ideally including Web API), .Net Core, Unit Testing, REST Web Services, SQL, SPA JavaScript frameworks, Responsive UI, RabbitMQ, HTML, CSS, Azure DevOps, Selenium, Postman/Newman, NoSQL databases Experience of non functional testing, security, load, performance, usability, accessibility Good awareness of microservices architectures Don’t meet every single requirement? Application Tester

Key Purpose Provide accurate investigative analysis and in doing so highlight opportunities within the division including but not limited to spend analysis, performance analysis and external benchmarking, working with the Operations Director, Heads of Function and key Stakeholders across the business. Own, develop and maintain accurate reporting and forecasting tools and processes. Work on Divisional projects with specific areas of focus using your analysis for recommendations. Ensure the integrity of all dashboards and reporting information is accurate. Deliver proactive insight &amp; reporting on performance trends against key deliverables, following the PDCA methodology and key six sigma principles to measure and analyse, with the core intention of transforming &quot;Data to information, information to insight, insight to action&quot;. Primary Responsibilities Proactively identify, stratify and measure areas for improvement within the division, articulating both the root cause and potential solution to key stakeholders. Carry out monthly analysis and reporting as agreed against Key Performance Indicators, across the full division. Providing commentary on the analysis, specifically regarding changes (positive or negative) and identify &amp; comment on cause of changes Produce regularly and in a timely manner the divisional dashboards using information obtained from organisational systems and 3rd party Suppliers. Ensure that the integrity of individual database components is always maintained. Assess the key information that can used to improve cost management &amp; customer service, including involvement in key supply projects where analysis is required, providing support for other project team members. Provide ad-hoc reporting as requested by General Managers or Head of Function Skills, Experience &amp; Background Ability to combine the theoretical with the practical in order to deliver solutions that can be implemented. Ability to multi-task and still deliver against set objectives. Comfortable working with imperfect information and drawing conclusions from partial knowledge. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand the objective &amp; reason behind the objective and to assess the benefits &amp; risks of specific recommendations. Must display exceptional attention to detail and ownership of tasks &amp; issues through to completion. Experience of working with and through others, documenting processes, process review, setting scope and objectives, time management and prioritisation of tasks. A strong track record of analysis and problem solving and of making improvement recommendations. Inquisitive mindset and ability to question situations and people to improve the recommendations and outcomes being presented. Excellent computer and numerical skills, especially Excel.
