Buying Assistant

Job summary Working on the full range of technical sales activities you will develop sales plans by product and geography to maximise revenue growth including lead development, price quotations, contract negotiation and account management as you raise turnover via existing, new and clients. The role will provide significant opportunity to utilise your Physics or Engineering background as you provide custom solutions for non-standard products obtaining clear customer definition for unique applications, through to providing technical guidance to customers on product enquiries. You will be selling technology from components to large-scale instrumentation, additional you will have product management responsibility for specific product ranges and responsibility for developing and implementing a plan for this product range. Key responsibilities Compilation of commercial and technical documents for tenders. Use of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Sage 200 software packages. Senior Sales Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities: As administrator you will share the workload of the Office Administration Team, learning the key administrative functions. We are looking to appoint an Administrator. This role is 37.5 hours per week, term time only plus an additional three weeks in April and August. The duties are broadly in two main areas: Reception Providing and maintaining a positive and welcoming first point of contact Welcoming, ensuring the visitor areas are well kept. Cover the reception desk, including a wide range of duties Dealing with personal, telephone and email enquiries; taking and passing on accurate messages, being quick and efficient in transferring calls to relevant colleagues and generally ensuring an efficient and friendly manner. Responding to all queries passing on messages as necessary Liaising with all staff to provide support Helping with other administrative matters such as arranging appointments and transport arrangements. Administrator (Term time)

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the main tasks include developing, planning and executing holistic and comprehensive multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to develop customer awareness, knowledge and understanding, through a series of marketing elements that take the customer on a journey that brings them closer to the organisation. Key metrics would be around moving customers and potential customers through the Awareness, Interest, Desire, Action (AIDA) funnel and converting them into advocates for the business and loyal repeat customers in support of our sales teams and regional representatives. Skills and Experience: Multi-Channel Campaigns: Responsible for driving the planning, execution and monitoring of multi- channel campaigns to ensure a clear customer journey. PR and Media Management: Identify and organise new advertisements, write press releases, company profiles and other content for the website, new product launches and exhibitions. Metrics and Reporting: Developing metrics to analyse how customers move through the opportunity funnel. Also report on marketing budgets and measurable objectives for marketing campaigns. Sales Channel Marketing: Inform and get buy-in from the representatives for joint marketing campaigns. Monitor execution of these joint plans.
