Ensure all work areas are safe, secure, clean, and tidy by the end of each working day, including any company transport used. Assist in operational duties as required by Management in line with all applicable works procedures and guidelines available. Reporting of Environmental/H&amp;S/Operational issues arising ASAP. Liaise with Operational/Technical and other departments as required to ensure activities performed efficiently, effectively and within legislative guidelines. Support of maintenance/operational/H&amp;S issues arising on site, including remedial actions and reporting. Ensure operational records/reports and relevant documents are produced accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles when required. Compliance Manager-Corporate SHEQ

We provide services to the entire industrial complex with high safety and quality standards. We are looking for a Radioactive Site Chemist to join us on site in Fawley, Southampton. The role To assist with the management of the processes involved in the control of radioactive inputs onto the thermal treatment site, processing and storage of waste under authorisation from the Environment Agency and to maintain accurate records. Responsibilities: * Radiation Protection Supervisor (following training). * Check radioactive wastes on receipt at Fawley site as required. * Assist with programming radioactive waste for incineration and maintaining accurate disposal records. * Resolving queries with Customer Services and Operations, raising reports where required. * Assist with internal and external Duty of Care audits and customer/stakeholder visits as required * Maintain good customer relations ensuring contract compliance and providing excellent response and service. * Carry out capability review of radioactive enquiries. * Provide quotes for radioactive wastes for disposal at the Fawley site and also wastes that are being disposed of at alternative sites. * Assist with booking radioactive waste in compliance with EPR authorisation and internal procedures. * Book transport and raise transport documents and labels for incoming consignments. * Issue invoices &amp; destruction certificates for radioactive wastes. * Comply with applicable safety, environmental, quality, company procedures / policy, legislative and regulatory requirements The person Ideally you will be : * Qualified to degree level in a relevant Science discipline is essential, ideally in Chemistry or an associated subject. * Candidates with equivalent experience in a related field will also be considered. We are looking for the following in the ideal candidate: * Experience and knowledge of scientific principles that can be applied to radioactive waste management. Radioactive Site Chemist

We provide services to the entire industrial complex with high safety and quality standards. We are currently looking for a Site Chemist to join us in Liverpool. The role * To organise Tradebe's in-coming waste loads, acceptance and inspection in order to develop and maintain the highest possible standards. * To organise Tradebe's incoming waste routing, diversion and maximise efficiency in order to develop and maintain the highest possible standards. * To provide a site technical assessment service to assist the Management team in effectively controlling the site's strategic requirements for growth. * To ensure full compliance with every aspect of the BMS procedure for the acceptance and recording of incoming wastes including recyclates. * Work is predominantly based outdoors on the site, working in all elements. You will be tasked with the following: To support and control the site's analytical testing and assessment requirements including all EA/UU technical issues. To ensure acceptance and dispatch operations are in line with the company's BMS, ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems. To identify and report on opportunities and trends in the site's technical control/analysis systems, so that the Company can effectively develop its continuous improvement programme. To raise non-conformances on any incoming loads in line with BMS procedures immediately To generate load/dispatch paper-work in line with company &amp; legislative requirements. To maintain effective record keeping and documentation, to include the running of the sites stock control system, production records and in-process records. To co-operate fully with colleagues in order to support the Company's efforts in growth. The person Ideally you will have a mix of the following skills: Educated to HNC standard Good organisation and planning ability IT skills Excel / Word / Outlook Good people skills with the ability to build up relationships both internally and externally.
