Assess student progress regularly using a variety of assessment methods and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues. Collaborate with other teachers, teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to create a cohesive and inclusive learning environment. Participate in professional development opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in special education and adapt teaching strategies to meet the evolving needs of students. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Proven experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly in a secondary school setting. Strong subject knowledge in science and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students with diverse learning needs. Familiarity with assistive technologies, adaptive equipment, and accommodations for students with disabilities. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the academic and personal growth of students with special educational needs.
