Having basic electronic knowledge is essential for anyone working in the Security System industry. This online Electronic Principles course has been specifically designed for students with little or no knowledge of electronics and will provide a good fundamental understanding of the basic concepts and electronic principles laws and components used within this industry.

Supported by your own online tutor, the course comprises 12 sections covering (without the need for any complicated mathematics or highly technical language) the information required by someone installing, servicing and maintaining security system equipment.

Within each module, there are a number of Self Assessment Questions to show you how you are progressing and provide a way of testing yourself and ensuring that you have understood the course.
