Overview

This International GCSE Geography Course will help you develop your knowledge and understanding of geographical concepts and appreciate the relevance of these concepts to our changing world. You will be able to appreciate that people have different views of, and attitudes to, the world, its environments and its issues.

The course will allow you to acquire, develop and apply practical geographical enquiry skills. You will also be able to undertake geographical investigations that include both primary and secondary data collection, presentation and analysis, drawing conclusions, and evaluating the whole geographical investigation.

  • Hazardous environments

Human Geography:

  • Economic activity and energy
  • Rural environments
  • Urban environments
  • Fieldwork from one of these topics - Global issues (Fragile environments and climate change, Globalisation and migration, Development and human welfare)

There are two exams for this IGCSE, of which are 1 hour 10 mins long and 1 hour 45 mins long. Grades 9-1 are available.
