Ovidiu asked:

IF I'M NOT AN ENGLISH SPEAKER CAN I TAKE NVQ 2? (using google translate) I work in the cladding field

Answer:

To enroll in this course, it is necessary to have a medium level of proficiency in the English language.

This was helpful. Thank you for your feedback.
Emir asked:

is the course all made at site, and how long does it take?

Answer:

Hi Emir, This is an assessment, once you will register for the qualification, an assessor will be assigned to you and will plan a day to visit on-site. The assessor needs to observe you working on a cladding job. You would also need to complete the knowledge workbook in order to meet the qualification criteria. The duration of the course will depend on you and your availability.

Troy asked:

Hi how long does it take to complete the level 2 cladding course and do I need experience or do I get any training

Answer:

Hi Troy, the NVQ Level 2 Diploma in cladding is for candidates who have experience and are presently working in cladding. If you haven't worked before I cladding , I would suggest you start with the Award in cladding and this contains a theory training and then practical one.

Gregory Campbell asked:

How much for renewal and how often do you have to renew this.

Answer:

Hi Gregory, Thanks for your enquiry. Your NVQ qualification is for life and you don't need to do it again but the CITB card you get will only last for 5 years and to renew it, you only need to do the touch screen test and your card will be renewed for another 5 years.

FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
