This qualification is designed for learners who wish to pursue a career in the financial services industry, professional accountancy, banking and finance or management. The role to be played by managers is very crucial for instance; they need to be aware of the issues, the ability for analysing their potential results and decide how to react. It is not mandatory that they need to be expert in all sectors of business. The prime requirement is that they need to have a general awareness of the facilities and services existing and finding a way how they can carry out the roles. OTHM qualifications at RQF Level 7 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to Master’s Degrees, Integrated Master’s Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Postgraduate Certificates.

OTHM Qualifications are approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) and recognised by Qualifications Wales. Who is this course for?

Entry to the Qualifications will be through centre interview and the candidates must possess the following:

  • An honours degree in related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
  • Learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course
  • Mature learners (over 21) with management experience
  • International students whose first language is not in English, they will need to have score of 5.5 or above in IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
