The wedding planning process, including the ceremony and legal paperwork, are all covered in the first modules of the course. The diploma looks at venues, themes, and catering for the big day and how to go about ensuring these are within budget. Wedding planners will often help with printed materials such as invitations and the etiquette surrounding the wedding gift list. As a wedding planner, you may also help with planning the evening celebration and so on.

Assessment

Theoretical information is given throughout the Wedding Planner course. You will be assessed by completing a series of assignments. Your expert tutor will review, mark and provide you with feedback on your work. Each module within the Wedding Planner course asks you to complete a selection of structured questions to ensure that you have the underpinning knowledge required and confirm that learning has taken place.

There are also activities which you are required to complete to show how you have applied your learning directly to work practices, and that you understand how it all fits in with current policies and procedures. Both the structured questions and the activities for each module of the Wedding Planner course must be assessed by your tutor.
