3rd Line IT Support Engineer. My client based in Newcastle are looking for a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer but would consider an experienced 2nd liner ready to step into a 3rd line role. Client will offer training, pay for course/certifications and progression!

Salary: £30k-£35k + Training + Progression + Benefits

This role offers hybrid working depending on project work and is very flexible on working hours!

You will be responsible for performing in-depth solution research to assist with incident management or planned replacement or the introduction of a new product / solution. Supporting the production of technical specifications and / or solutions. Also supporting and advising colleagues from Service Desk roles when investigating incidents.

You must have the following skills/experience:

  • Active Directory
  • Windows Server
  • Azure 365
  • Some experience of SQL to some level is essential
  • Hyper-V exposure or VMWare
  • Enterprise storage technologies including SAN
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience/understanding of ITIL

Any ITIL, Always On, Microsoft Certifications are a bonus!

Client also offers a one stage video interview process!

Please note this role does require you to have a full driving licence/car for occasional site visits/ being on-call.
