Quest Search & Selection a partnering with this fast-growing, B2B online Publication within the FMCG, Consumer, Marketing & Retail publication. This business has been established for 10 years and focuses on latest industry news for their leadership global audience. Their unrivalled audience enables them to advertise via multichannel campaigns for businesses to reach the key decision makers within their designated field and expertise.

This Account Manager - Digital Media Publication is for their flagship group, with already 1million unique visitors to their site and an established sales team that continues to grow across their group of publications. We have X2 Account Manager roles within their Marketing and FMCG publications and looking for someone with a keen interest in Business Development and Account Management to join their team in a predominate remote basis!

The roles and responsibilities of this Account Manager - Digital Media Publication role include -

  • This is a new position will focus significantly on building contacts and developing new business relationships.
  • Attend meetings virtually and face to face regarding exploration calls and closing contracts.
  • Working towards KPI's such as outreach, meetings, sales, repeat business and new business signed.
  • Utilising LinkedIn Sales navigator, leads generation software, their Salesforce CRM system and inbound leads to generate sales and new business.
  • Selling digital marketing campaigns including e-mail marking, display, whitepapers, thought leadership, webinars and round tables.
  • Undertaking other online competitor analysis regarding readership and market share.
  • Continually monitor company progress, sales and marketing successes and making suggestions for growth of digital products and outreach

To be successful in this Account Manager - Digital Media Publication position -

  • You must have 2 years + experience in Sales, Business Development or Account Executive or Manager position, where you can share longevity within a business or role.
  • Can show evidence in revenue generation, meeting sales targets including new business.
  • Have B2B sales experience within a publication (ideally with the focus being on digital)
  • This will be a mixture of warm clients and new business so must have a 'hunter' mentality.
  • Have sold similar product such as digital marketing campaigns, social, round tables and white papers etc.
  • If you have worked with decision makers Marketing Director, Head of, CMO this is advantageous.
  • Have working in the FMCG, Marketing or Food sector would be desirable but not essential.
  • Someone who can work independently as the team predominately fully remote working
