Account Maintenance Officer

Our Banking client in Central London is seeking a well-rounded Centralised Account Maintenance Officer on a 6-12 month FTC basis with the potential to turn perm. A salary of up to £35,000 - £40,000 is on offer with a great perks package.

What does the role entail?

As a CAM Officer, you will Centralise Account Opening & Maintenance-Control Function for all related activities. The function's purpose is to ensure all accounts activities are centrally controlled, reviewed and sanctioned in line with AML/CFT regulations & Bank Policy. You will be Keeping up to date with the latest bank policies, regulations, & procedures, ensuring all updates are reflected on internal control & review functions.
You will also be processing Cheque books and dispatching them to the clients as well as Monitoring Dispatch & Work queues ensuring all deadlines are met as well as GSM Services, Internet Banking, Secure keys, Creation, Activation & Reissuing.

What skills will you have?
* Working knowledge and experience within Client On-boarding team and end-to-end process
* Have good knowledge of the different types of entities including SPV, Trusts, Charities & awareness of the risk factors when dealing with high risk entities/individuals and PEPs
* Intermediate to advance knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook, MS Word PowerPoint and Excel
* Self-driven and highly motivated.
* Can work in teams or individually with no supervision
